|Dash heater||George Brown||10-26-16|
|My dash boaard heater is not working. It only blows cold air. Why is there a shut off valvery behind the engine? It is a 2001 Fleetwood Bounder deisel pusher.|

|There is a shut off valve for two maybe three reasons|
1st if you get an air pocket in the heating system is an absolute pain to purge, so before you drain the coolant from the engine you shut off the valve or valves
2nd Many people think the AC will work better if there is no heat going to the dash.
3rd If it was installed by a previous owner there may be trouble with a leak in the heater system and they isolated it.
