ROUGH RESTART DONALD 5-30-16
ROUGH RESTART AFTER STOPPING FOR FUEL ON FORD 7.5 MOTORHOME. SOUNDS LIKE VAPOR LOCK, BUT IT IS FUEL INJECTION NOT CARBURETOR. after a few seconds it straightens out and runs great.

There are half a dozen posible causes.

Best guess you have a leaky injector that floods one or two cylinders while its shut off.

The diag is a little involved but starts with a pressure gauge conected to fuel rail. If it looses pressure over a few minutes after shut down you have confirmed the problem. It should take 1/2 hour or more (thats not what ford says, but my rule of thumb)

Then you pull the injectors and pressure them up looking for the drippy one.

Good LUck
