|84 airstream 454 ran just fine, shut off and tried to start to backup, totally dead||David Weant||5-23-16|
|I took a drive in my 84 airstream motorhome and everything went well. When I got home I shut off the engine. Decide to back it up a little more. Turned the key and nothing. Have power to the firewall solenoid on one side but not the other. Have power to the starter. Can it be the NSS or is it in the key ignition. Driving me crazy. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.|

|Check engine to chassis ground first. Then battery to chassis and battery to engine. This is the most common failure area for your symptoms.|
Check power to start terminal on starter while someone turns the key.
Then trace the circuit back to the ignition switch.
