1971 Superior 2500 Water pump questions Amos 12-20-15
Hey guys! Just recently picked up a 1971 Superior 2500 RV with the 413RV engine in it. Got it fired up and found that the bearings in the water pump are shot. And I'm having issues finding a replacement pump for this engine. Its got the Max cool setup so its got the odd heads and pump housing. I'm wanting to know if a 440 water pump will work in this housing? And if not does anyone have a source for the correct pump? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Most of the 383-440 parts fit including the water pump.

The housings changed but the basic Pump will fit.

Sorry for the delay guys. Actually pulled the pump off the RV after Christmas just to match it up visually this pump has a five bolt pattern and it has a grease fitting for the bearing and all that I've found are the four bolt pattern to the housing and no grease fitting pumps Seems this is an industrial/RV pump only and Its taken forever to find it! If anyone else has this particular pump and need one the only replacement pump I've found is from GMB Part # 120-2940 useful information for anyone on down the line that needs one!
