|You need to do a Diag on this, I can't remember what year ford Motor Home Engines changed over to fuel injection but it was about this time.|
1st you need to check fuel pressure. I know all this stuff is new but check it anyway, some of these aftermarket parts are crap out of the box. The low flow and pressure problem is a common Ford fuel pump failure from this era. The Injection system has a pressure test port and a local parts store should be able to rent you a Guage.
If it Has a carb: Fill the carb with fuel, Disconect the fuel line and put in a container. Let the engine idle usually for 15 seconds or so. There is a specific spec for the fuel pump to supply.
2nd Basic tune up, bad wires and bad cap are 2 things that will produce this issue.
3rd Camshaft. Remove the easy Valve cover, Roll the engine on the starter, watch the valves to see if one or more have lost their lift. Measue a couple to make sure they make spec Or at least close. If you find no trouble on the easy side do the hard side. If you have a bad camshaft speend the big money and buy a roller lifter kit to prevent a re-ocurence long term. If you can't buy the right high Zink oil and High Zink assembly lube.
