|R-vision 2006 trail lite||Alistair||6-10-14|
We have a R vision 2006 trail lite. It has only covered 12000km and yesterday the oils pressure warning light came on. Says it running at 20psi on tick over. Lifts up a bit to 27-30 when driving.
Can someone let me know is this is normal? Why is the light coming on? And what could be the problem.

|Are you relying on the dash guage for these readings? I would put more money on a bad sender than a bad engine. You should plumb in a "Master guage" and check the real pressure.|
WHat chassis do you have?
The engine make model etc are critical to your question.
But you are correct the pressure readings are slightly low.

It's a GM 8.1 v8 petrol. Not sure if it's the standard presure as it seem to ideal around 40 now.
