GMC bus Ray Stiltner 9-2-12
I have a 1966 GMC bus and I let it sit too long I guess, and now the clutch is stuck to the fly wheel. Any suggestions?
Re: GMC bus BUBBA THE BUS TECH 9-4-12
I drove these near the end of their bus use. Weird stuf in comparason to the other busses on the road.

1st make sure the clutch linkage is working correct.

You break it loose by starting and warming the engine. Because this clutch lives in engine oil, warm helps.

Shut if off, put it in gear and start in gear with clutch depressed, it should break loose, if not:

Get a big socket and breaker bar for the crankshaft end bolt, have someone step on the clutch.
