81 Foretravel motorhome /440 Dodge Deb White 6-15-11
Purchased an 81 Foretravel with a 440 Dodge engine. Ran when parked. Installed new starter and relay, trans. shift cable and it wouldn't start. Batteries check good, alternator checks good. Now I have no lights on dash and no start at all. It is dead in the water. I am trying to do as much as I can but am definately challenged. IWhat should I do. Can't afford a pricey mechanic. Please help.

You know that there are 2 batteries. One to start the coach (small) and one for all of the cabin needs. The small one needs to be charged so check that first (pretty obvious). Sometimes you can switch the terminals to the other battery to see if that works but a volt tester is best.
