|1999 Chevy 2500 Express Van Engine Hesitation||bruce||5-25-11|
|I have a 1999 chevy 2500 Express van. m The other day, the speedometer started to jump like crazy, the engine was hesitating and sounded like it was going to stall when you came to a stop, but it did not. Prior to that, there have been a couple of occasions where you apply the gas, but it did'nt speed up, just hesitated along for a short while. Seemed like it was waiting for something to kick in. The speedometer is back to normal, and it seems to run alright at the moment. Any clues?|

|Connected problems I think.|
If I had to flat out guess you have an intermitant wiring problem.
Probably a couple grounds from the engine block to chassis that are loose corroded or one or more of the dedicated the ground wires is broken to the computer.
