Fuel problem Gary 9-30-09
I have a 1982 Pace Arrow that has 2 fuel tanks and when the main tank is between a 1/2 to 3/4 the motor will quit running and I have to switch to the auxillary tank to keep the motor running. The motor will run fine off the auxillary tank and if I switch back to the main tank the motor will quit again. When I fill the main tank back up it will run fine till I get back to the 1/2 to 3/4 then the same thing will happen. Thanks Gary
Re: Fuel problem BUBBA THE BUS TECH 9-30-09
So the real question here is what is the capacity of the tank in liters or gallons and how much do you put in when the engine has quit? If you are burning the capacity of the tank your guage is bad one of the following, Wireing damaged or incorrect, change over switch bad or damaged and finally the most likly bad sender. IIf you are not burning the capacity you need to drop the tank and inspect the pickup. Good Luck
