Electric Fans on Ford 460 Tim B 9-24-08
Alright, I finally got my motorhome back from the shop (again). Now when I turn the key to the Auxillary position (or any position for that matter) the electric radiator fans come on. I really hate to take it back again and I guess it is not a big deal for them to run but I'd like to fix it. This is happening on a 1988 Allegro with a Ford 460 Engine. I've gone to Tippen and they don't have schematics (or won't give them out)

Any help?

Thanks

I have an 86 ElDorado. My two electric fans are wired hot to a relay mounted near the radiator. The circuit that energizes the relay to turn on the fans is wired thru a temperature switch installed in the radiator hose with a coupling and also a pressure switch in the high side of the a/c system. They are wired in parrallel so if either one of those close the fans will come on.
