Class C RV with Ford V-10 by Ralph Westberg

Recently I purchased a 30' Class C Fleetwood Jamboree with a 6.8 Ford V-10. I have tried many different driving techniques and added a K&N air filter and can't get my mileage over 9 MPG.

I traded in a 32' Class A Sea Breeze with a 8.2 Chevy that got 10 MPH. This rig weighed almost twice as much and had to push a lot more air out of the way than the C Class.

Anybody doing any better MPG with the Ford
V-10 ? If so what are you doing ?
