	I finally found a local mechanic that knew the problem. basically, my carb was full of gum and junk from sitting too much. i had to have it cleaned out and now it works great. fuel pump as diagnostic by the carb (edelbrock) tech was NOT the problem. carb runs fine on 3+ psi pressure and does not need the 5+psi as told me by the edelbrock tech. his bad advise cost me $200+. Ray
