Re: rv mallard electrics by Ernest Winborne
Post New Message We have a 1991 Mallard 5th wheel. Recently we started losing 120 volt appliences and receptacles. One day they work and the next day there is no power.

The circuit breakers do not trip and if you put a volt meter on the breaker you will read 120 volts.

Questions:

1) How is the RV wired?? Do the 120 volt circuits go directly from the breaker to the end device or do they route through the inverter?

2) What if the hot (black) and white wires are reversed? could this cause this type problem??
