90' Southwind Start/No Start by sam097
Post New Message My 90' Southwind on a Ford chassis won't start. Normally a very good running rig.It sat idle for two months over the holidays. Engine battery was near dead, so I used the booster switch which uses the coach batteries to assist in starting. It fired right up and idled momentarily. I released the booster switch and it died. It cranks, I have spark to the plugs, coil and distributor, but won't start now. I squirt priming fluid in intake and wants to start but won't. fuel pump is not coming on.I've replaced the fuel pump relay, Checked the inertia switch, OK. Bypassed the relay with a wire and I can't seem to get power to the fuel pump at the back of the motorhome. All fuses are good in the fuse block. Fusible link at the relay is good. EEC relay clicking OK. Anyone know of another breaker, fusible link, fuse ANYTHING that would interrupt the circuit back to the pump. Please help..stranded in my yard.
