Hi Kurt
you may know the system works by eavesdropping on the communication channel between the 3126 and the Alison auto box, you problem may well be that the transmission fluid is overheating, check the level, change the oil maybe passed service life or time and check any transmission heat exchanger or coolers are clean and free of debris, the oil overheating will cause the engine to shut down, hope this info helps.
