Charging issues by christian
Post New Message 87 32ft gulfstream 454eng,new altinator and engine battery,2 house batterys r dead and the ingnition fuse was blown,i would start the rv run it 15 minutes use my idiot light to chech for charging issues which where all weak or bad,turn off the rv and the engine battery would be dead,so i cleaned all connections replaced the fuse and disconnected the red wire from the battery isoltor to the 2 dead house batterys but left the other red wires which i think go to electric charging/30 amp plug in/and it seems everything is charging now,i think,there r a couple of 4 bolt tube solinoids,and 1 battery isolator how do i tell if these r bad???and also would the solinoid on the starter screw things up???help???
