You definately are back feeding the power to run the speedo from the lighting circuit. I in this case would be tempted to check the fuses and carfully check the operation of everything else on the dash then steal power from the switched feed for the stereo to run the speedo. By the way the bus company I worked for requierd the drivers to keep the head lights on while moving for saftey. May be this was intentional from somebody else that ran this unit that way? The could be stealing the power from the lighting circuit because they thought was an easy fix? Good Luck |
