Dodge Champion 318 engine motorhome by Stan
Post New Message I have a Dodge Champion Motorhome with a 318 engine. I've bought a new battery and new alternator but the auto store I go to says the alternator is not charging the battery. They told me it is some sort of short but I cannot find one anywhere. The only thing I could find is two wires are dangling and I don't know where they go. One wire is white and screwed into the inside firewall (obvously a ground wire) but where does the other end go. Another wire goes from what looks like the head lights to the inside of the RV. How do I fix this problem? Do these wires go to something that is keeping the alternator from charging?

It sucks pushing a motorhome out of traffic myself as I am not that strong.
