Need Wiring info for a 97 Chevy Cavalier. Speedometer no worky. shammrockinkc 11-8-07
I just installed a new stereo in my 97 Chevy Cavalier and am sure that I have all the wires going to the right places although it took some research. However, my problem now is that the speedometer is not working. All other gages are fine, except the speedometer, and I have a couple of wires left coming from the car that I'm not sure where they belong. A thicker brown wire, which I think may be a second ground wire and a green and white striped one that I'm pretty sure is the one that controls the speedometer, only I don't know which wire to connect it to. I've done trial and error but don't want to fry anything so if anyone has any input please let me know.
