I have a 1997 Dodge 2500 pickup and I just got my transmition rebuilt, but I recently noticed my reverse lights are not working, the shop that rebuilt my tranny want to charge me to look at the problem. Is there something that I should check out before paying them to look at it, or could it be something that was their fault that I should make them take care of? I've checked all fuses and bulbs, and all are good.
I have a 98 Dodge Durango and I just got my transmition rebuilt as well. My reverse lights were working fine until a couple of days ago. And my bulbs are fine and so are all the fuses. What's the deal with this stuff?? Let me know if you figure anything out, I am taking mine back to the place that rebuilt the tranny and i'm going to tell them to look at it.
It was my neutral saftey switch that was causing the problem. When they pluged everything back in they broke one of the pins on it. Good Luck and if I can be of any more help let me know.
