When Kwikee steps retract, the motor continues to run/grind?

Is it an older model? If so there is a cam that shuts off the motor, this might need adjusting.

I have takin my elc. motor off and serviced it and now the step gos out but it does not go all the way back and the elc. motor runs when it is back. I need to know how to ajust it.
