I posted a few days ago....before I checked at the converter....so since my last post..this is what I found out
Ok we had it checked out, and it looks like the converter is going out...now...what we would like to know is can we use a 30 amp converter in place of the 45 amp that is going bad in our motor home...??
Temporarly "probably" yes but it wont do what your used to- might be ok for a week--when your engine is running the alternator will maintain the batteries but when parked-limit your self to minimal use of 12 volts-useage till you all replace the converter

Good morning Tammy;
I wouldn't add another battery-that will overload the converter even
quicker. I was giving you time"one week" to get the proper power supply.
there are reasons yours had a 45 amp. I certainly don't want you having a
fire from a overloaded power supply. please don't take this wrong---I do
care.I just wouldn't want you to loose a wonderful rv over using a smaller
unit. just be careful
