I am having a problem with my electric brakes. I replaced my emegency brake controller and my plug last week. THe brakes worked fine up until my emergency brake shorted out a couple of weeks ago... (bad trailer plug, which I replaced along with the emergency brake controller which melted... I test the blue wire and it tests hot... I pull the new emergency pull wire and it locks up the brakes... But when I press on my brake or I push in the lever on my brake controller I have brake lights but no brakes???

Your brake lights wires left and right and the blue brake hot wire are different circuits white is ground---
