Battery John 11-10-01
I have a 92 safari with a small cummings deisel I need to replace the main battery is there a good, better, best I can look for
Re: Battery Mark O. 11-11-01
I have found Interstate and NAPA United batteries to give yeoman service over the years at a very reasonable price.

The most important thing to look for in a battery is how fresh the battery may be. Interstate and NAPA rotate their stock on a very regular basis and you will rarely get a battery that has been sitting on the shelf for a long time.

Good luck and happy trails.

Re: Battery Steve 11-12-01
Interstate batteries are the best but Wal-Mart's Everstart probably is your best bet cause they are generally open 24 hrs. If you are on a trip they will be the cheapest and quickest to replace but they will probably last half as long. But their warrenty will cover them . As a Rv tech i perfer Interstate batteries, the only car dealers that don't use them i GM cause they have their own brand AC DELCO.
