Electric battery diconnect switch steve 9-1-03
I have 2 electronic battery disconnect switches,1 for coach, which works fine, and 1 for chassis that need some help, the chassis switch will always turn on manualy and i am able to start the engine, after driving the motor home, mostly 15 minutes or more the switch cant be shut off manualy, the solenoid for that switch has been replaced by dealer and i installed a new chassis battery this year, and replaced battery cables as well,i either have to disconnect the battery or let the motorhome sit for 2 hours and then the switch will work as designed, heat causing something in the circuit to stick closed? you can hear the solenoid activate on,but no noise when hot and wont shut off, after cool down press switch down, you hear the solenoid open and battery shuts off,any suggestions?
