Re: Tent Trailer cable wiring steve walker 4-23-04
The cable to raise up the tent broke and I have been looking for a schematic as to how the cable is attached. My son and I would like to replace it without going to a RV dealer. It is a 90's Starcraft, built like a tank. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't forget you'll need a ground wire also, connected to the trailer frame and the tow vehicle's frame. It should have been on the trailer, look for a white wire near the tongue.

Hooking up my trailer to the car and noticed the yellow wires were cut. I spliced them together and now when I turn on the turn signals, both trailer lights blink off and on. Any suggestions?
