|Doggie Door Installation||Susan Ketchum||12-9-16|
|We are full time RVers and have a 1996 Jayco 3530RL Designer Series fifth wheel. We have puppies and a 20 x 30|
doggie area with the fencing just about flush with the slides. We want to cut a doggie door into the dining area slide
but are concerned about hitting a water or electrical line. How can we find a schematic showing where these lines
would be so we don't damage anything. We'll cut the fencing the same size as the opening for the door and provide
the puppies a small landing and ramp so that they can go outside anytime they want to.
Thanks for any input.

|Hi Susan, sorry there are no schematics from the manufacturer. There shouldn't be any water lines in the walls. A stud finder with electric detection would be a way to find wires. They are available at Home Depot, Lowes etc. for under $20. I'd still kill the power to the unit before cutting into the wall. If you do cut a wire it can be spliced. Hope your pups enjoy their door! Good luck|
