Help!! No power! Chasidy 10-3-16  
We just got a 85 Holiday Rambler, we cannot get the batteries to charge, and even running off electric meter still no lights on inside, just ac runs. If we try to turn on the water pump or heater we lose all power, please help!

No 12 volt power.

Prove I have guessed correctly before spending the money

Sounds like a bad converter. in 1985 they were using a power supply with a separate charge board. Most of these were the 12 volt and 120 volt house power panels with the power supply and charge inside.

Common issue was the change over relay. Parts are no longer available.

A modern converter runs $300 retail and requires re-wiring the power center in most cases.

Test for continuity to batteries and to ground, prove you have 120 volt supply to power the system first.
