Wiring for a 2006 Montana furnace Jerry 9-26-16
Mice got into wiring for my fan-tastic fan (fixed), furnace (not fixed).....repaired very small red and white wires running from furnace. But when I plugged them into the furnace it fired up and ran without the remote or thermostat. These wires are the size of bell wire. I traced the wires and they along with the thermostat wires run up into the ceiling. I think there is a short somewhere from the mice again but I don't have any idea where these wires are going. Maybe back to the air conditioner??? Really need something to show me where the wires go from this stuff. Thanks for any help you can throw my way.

You are correct, the wires run to the AC

The AC control box runs the furnace through that communication wire.

Most RV techs would just run a new wiring harness and disconnect the original.

To go any further you need to figure out what Make and Model AC you have.
