|Wiring problem in 2000 Alumascape 29SKS||Jim Shuff||8-8-16|
|I have a problem with the lights beside the bedroom in slideout. I called Monaco and was told that they did not have the wiring diagram for 29SKS and sent me what they had. The diagram color codes as the same, it seems, as the SKS but are different fuse locations which seemed odd as you would think that they would not vary like that. I have not been able to find how the brown wire gets from the fuse panel to the lights. I am thinking that the problem maybe where the wire flexes when the slideout is moved but that is just a guess. I cannot find where that junction is to trace anything. |

|There are really only two ways to get power into the slide.|
1st there is a cord under the slide that is either like old fashioned phone cord on a steel rod or regular wire supported on a plastic belt. Both these systems usually have a junction box on the trailer end and a junction point or box in the wall or cabinetry.
The other way is behind a cabinet face on the lower part of the inside of the slide. You need to remove the panel to see the wires and connections.
