Fuse panel Rich Grady 4-8-16
We have a 2000 Fleetwood Savannah 5th wheel trailer, and one of the slides will not work. Does anyone know where I can find the fuse panel. My RV guy says it is probably a fuse that has gone. We have power everywhere else and the battery is fully charged.

It may be chest height behind the toilet, or in an overhead cabinet, or under the galley sink or under the entertainment centre by the entry door.

But sorry to say thats probably not going to be where your problem is. Most slides are powered direct off the battery or the distribution point from the main battery cable from the battery.

Hiddden in a cabinet to one side or other of the faulty slide is a control board. They fail.

To diagnose, find the motor, cut the wires and hook it to a battery. If it drives the slide go find the control board. It will be under or behind a drawer or behind an access panel.

Check the power and switched (Control) power to the board.

Wire it back together and check to see what of the relays is bad, just to prove it is the board. Buy a replacement board. Depending on the control logic you may have to re-wire your switch. 80% of switches can be re-wired at the board. Phone around until you find a RV parts shop that knows what you are talking about. We stock this item ;)

Good Luck
