|1990 Fleetwood Bounder / Ford 460 - No Engine/System Power||Slats_Ry||3-30-15|
|I just bought a 1990 1/2 Bounder with Ford 460. I drove it home and everything was fine, I started doing a whole cleanup effort and started removing old wires and switches that were all deadends and not in use. Somewhere along the line I must have bumped something and now it wont start, wont turnover, no dash lights, no headlights, no radio, nothing. While doing this I also recharged the batteries and its seems fine and Im getting power to the starter relay (I guess is what it is on firewall), Then theres about 6 wires all on that same post for constant power. At some point yesterday I may have rebumped something cause for about 5 mins I was getting dash lights and the radio was on, but it still wouldn't turn over at all, my dad said he could here the relay click a couple of times but that was it. This was also right after I unplugged and checked for power to the ignition plug at the bottom of the steering column. I think the previous owner replaced the ignition, the relay, and the starter, so Im gonna ask him if he had a similar issue. Can anyone give me a insight on where to start.|
