2002 Dutchmen Lite 28BH Running Light problem Matt D. 10-25-09
My grandfather recently purchased a 2002 Dutchmen Lite 28ft bunkhouse travel trailer. When he bought it the four front running lights were not working. The rear running lights work fine. We have done countless hours of troubleshooting and have concluded the following; the four front running lights are all interconnected OK after testing the positive and ground connections, BUT no positive voltage or ground connection is present between the back running lights and front running lights, therefore there must be an "open" somewhere between the front and back. Since most of the wiring is concealed we don't know where else to check... Has anyone had a similar problem and/or has any suggestions as to where this open may be located? All and any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

I have not worked on Dutchmen much. Most trailers have a spot where the 7 way cord to the truck goes into a box at the front of the trailer. The running lights generally get their power from this point. Fin the conection and if you dont see the fault here fish a new wire. Good Luck
