Onan Emerald Plus 4000 generator Sandee 8-17-09
Long story short..blew up a coach battery due to being plugged in way too long; replaced battery; replaced inline fuse from batteries; 12v lights etc work; roof air works when plugged in; water gauge/battery indicator does not work; check all fuses in inverter - good; cannot start generator inside the coach or at the unit. There is a place for a spare fuse on the front of the gen set...but I cannot see or feel where the "active" fuse is to check it.

Does anyone know where I can find it? Or a schematic that shows where it is?

Hope this all makes sense.

Thanks

Sandee,
I had the same problem finding the fuse. The housing that holds the spare fuse comes out, as on the reverse side of it is the active fuse. It might take a little muscle, but the little housing will come out with a little tug.
