Hi i need to know whats the wiring diagram for the alternator to keep my battire full charge and and how do i get rid of my voltage regulator for good please im in need of sum help
Re: help BUBBA THE BUS TECH 8-11-09
Your question has me scratching my head. The first thing is what make and year of unit? This is critical as everybody wires their alternator difrently. Next the Voltage regulator is absolutely required. When the system works properly it insures that the battery gets properly charged and doesn't catch fire or explode. Some alternators have an internal regulator that is very easy to work with. Some have an external regulator that is usulally on the frame or fire wall. Either one the down fall of this system is cheap regulators in white boxes. Spend the extra and buy name brand (standard ignition is what I trust) Good Luck
