24v bus system to 12v trailer light sysmem Greg 1-20-09
Hello, My MCI bus is 24v. My Jeep and trailers use 12v for brakes, turns, and running. I do have a 12v converter and with some time and effort use relays to convert bus functions for my towing needs however, I was hoping to find a simple solution. Is there a box of some kind to connect and get the results I need?

Thank you,
Greg

Working on the same problem. I bit the bullet and replaced all the trailer lights with multi-voltage LEDs so I can use the tariler with the MCI or a regular vehicle.
I still need to covert the separate turn and brake signals to a combined one. There are gadgets for this for 12V readily available. I just don't know if 24v will fry it.
