Battery issue causing MH to shut down mark 9-26-08
I have a 98 bouder and have recently been having issue with the main battery running down. First time I noticed it was after towing a small trailer and the looked down and the battery charge indactor on the dash was readin 8. I was able to make it to my house by the time the motor home died. I replaced the altenator as I was only getting 9 volt reading when the battery was sitting at 13.2. Since then I now getting solid reading at both the altenator and battery however after driving the motorhome for a two hour drip while backing up the battery charge droped again and it died. The battery recovered and it now seems fine unless we drive it. Also the chasis battery are only at 6.8 while plugged in so looks like they might be shot. Any idea on why the motorhome keeps shuting off?
