My gen is burning antifreeze. i've pulled the plugs and no sign of cracked head or blown head gasket. replaced plugs and runs great, but is going through the entire amount of antifreeze in the heat excahnger in about 2 hours. there is no external leaks into the bilge.

It's probably your heat exchange. There may be a small hole in the tubing. If thats the case, I would check with Onan to try and convert it to a sea water cooling.

I have a Onan Mcck Genset 1985-1986. Do you know where I can get an water pump impeller for it. You wouldn't have a part number for it would you.
