Re: 96 ford contour o/d light flashing by Roach
Post New Message I found a pinched wire under the starter. OOPS! I removed the starter and wires look ok but hard to see under there. Re-installed it and now i can put in reverse and quickly hit the gas and it will not die but runs VERY sluggish (no power) I went around my block but when i come to a stop it wants to turn off. It was running very good before i had to replace the starter.
Any Suggestions?
