1996 ford ranger hannah 5-7-08  
I have a 96 ford ranger and at first my fuel gage wasnt working it read e whe i put gas in it so we replaced the fuel pump and now it reads but it wont start we no its not the batery but anyadvice.. we did call around to a couple of mech. and they both said it could possibly be the fuel pump and to just go with napa but any suggestions?

I have a 95 ford ranger and same thing happened but all that i needed was a new float gauge in the gas tank. as for not starting is that you may need to checjk the fuel lines and vaccum line becuase the rangers need a specific presure and vacccum to run properly to run properly. And check to make sure your igniyion switch isnt broken.
