AIR/HYDROLIC BRAKES STOPING ? KNEAL 1-26-08
1992 COACHMEN DIESEL PUSHER AIR OVER HYD BRAKES. NEW PADS AND MECH BLEED SYSTEM.
SLOW STOPING. LOTS OF FOOT PREASURE AND WHEELS WONT LOCK UP IN PANIC STOPING SENERIO.

STOPS STRIGHT NO PULLING BUT NOT A FAST STOP. THIS IS MY FIRST MOTORHOME AND NOT FAMILIAR WITH STOPING POWER.

I UNDERSTAND THE DELAY WITH AIR BUT I WANNA stop.

mechanic says its normal stoping and everything is ok?

i know in a emergency i will not stop in time and might hit a cow on a country road... lol

how bout you others ? how do you stop?
Re: AIR/HYDROLIC BRAKES STOPING ? BUBBA THE BUS TECH 1-28-08
My experiance with these is that the perform OK. The manufacturer of your chassis has a spec to stop in "X" feet from "Y" MPH at "X" weight Max or metric equivelant. They have to file this with the government when they manufacture their systems. Call Coachman or the Chasis manufacturer direct and ask them. Good Luck.
