Brakes Jerry 1-17-08
My 1979 Dodge Concord motor home had been sitting for 3 years when I bought it. The brakes do not function right. Sometimes the pedal goes to the floor. The master cylinder seems to be leaking. How hard is it to remove the master cylinder & can it be rebuilt?
Re: Brakes rich 1-18-08
Is this a class A or C ?
A=would be a little harder-any way
use a fuel line wrench to take lines off so you wont round off fittings--DONT drip fluid in paint---it will take the paint off--any auto parts place should be able to help you.replace it-take it with you to match it up.--NOT rebuild it.use DOT 3 fluid and bleed it off/I had a 77 class C and parts were under 1 ton truck---use your VIN-#
