Brake Buddy System Diana Johnson 1-11-08
We recently had a malfunction of a brake buddy system...it locked mid-way through our trip...we are being told by Brake Buddy that we installed it improperly. What could we have done improper? we had traveled over 100 miles and would have applied brakes during that time; nothing happened initially but only after on the road a while...our new CRV tires are ruined. Brake Buddy has yet to resolve the malfunction. We are confused as to what might have caused it?

Thank you for your response. Brake Buddy has responded that we "did something wrong." There warranty will only allow you to return it directly to them...and they have tested it and says it works.....our word against theirs. Apparently they do not stand by their product.......easy answer and only after we followed up three weeks after the receipt of the Brake Buddy. Right now they are reviewing whether they want to refund our money because we are leery of the brake buddy system. But that doesn't make us whole. Our Honda CRV had less than 4,000 miles on it and we have tires that are ruined. You indicated that it has happened with others...does that mean it does fail from time to time? Thanks again.
