The auto park brake on my 93 Pace Arrow quit braking a year ago, leaving me blocking the wheels every time I parked. A mechanic I found while on the trip found a sticking switch which he teased free with lubricant and the brake has worked OK since. This switch is activated mechanically when the gearshift lever moves from Park to a gear.
Now I wish to continue lubricating the errant switch before it sticks again but without removing the left front wheel and considerable other stuff I can't see the switch. Does anyone know how this lubrication can more easily be done? |
