Electric Brakes Operating Voltage by Andy
Post New Message I have a 38foot 5th wheel. It has 3 axles and 12" brakes on all. The brakes had a short and I think it was a magnet. I replaced the assembly of the suspect magnet and no problem since.

The brakes seem to work fine now but are only requiring 4-5 volts to lock up and operate around 1.5 to 2 when slowing gradually. Is that normal or is there still a problem?
