Wire locations Matt 7-11-07
I have an '05 Dodge Ram 2500 I've Installed a Prodigy break controller and 4 wire and 7 wire multi hook-up at the back. My question is the wires coming out of the back of the truck is only for the 4 wire which is just the lights right where do the rest of the wires come from? I've crawled all over underneath that truck and cant find these two wires a red and a blue that are coming out of the hook-up.
Re: wire locations Matt 7-11-07
Its a six wire connection not seven the wires are coming out of the brake control wiring harness up front but go missing between the front and back of the truck
Re: wire locations wrench 7-12-07
If the truck did not come from the factory with a trailer tow package, there is no connector at the back you will have to custom make a harness & all. If it does have the tow package, the is a connection box on the frame rail to connect the wire from the plug.
