Hi All I have a problem with my 1986 P30 Tag axle brakes. Pedal does not allow to bleed brakes any clues? Thanks. Jim

Hi everyone,on gm tag axle you have a secondary brake booster near rear axle with a vacuum valve that allow the brake fluid to go in tag axle brake.If the valve is jam you can not bleed your fluid to the brake.I gonna try to find the schematic in my old rvbook and send you a copy as soon it possible.

Does it have a master like cylinder in back just for the tag axle???????? MIKE

I am having the same problem. My pedal is spongey and goes almost to the floor. I started trying to bleed the brakes with the tag axle and can,t get any fluid even standing on the pedal. Any Ideas. PS I get fluid to all of the other wheels. Thanks

Theres a booster and brake cyclinder on the right side frame that works the tag axle brakes theres a valve that works off the main brakes that makes it work,the booster is hooked to a vacuum line from the engine.when brakes are pushed the valve puts vacuum to the booster to apply the tag axle brakes.
