Some time ago while traveling through New Mexico our transmission went out. We had to have it rebuilt there and on the way home we discovered that we didn't have any emergency brake, come to find out that in the process of them removing the transmission and replacing it they left out a rubber gromet that belongs in the emergency brake unit. Instead of using the standard emegency brake system this motorhome has a fairly large round unit that is attatched to the back of the transmission and the drive shaft then attaches to the other side of the round emergency brake unit. We have tried to find one of these rubber gromets for some time know with no luck. If you have one of these rubber gromets or you know where I can purchase one please let me know.
It's a 1977 Dodge Diplomat II motorhome made by Executive Industries, Inc and it is powered by a Dodge 440 engine.
