Post New Message No, the brakes are now wired in parrelel, The chassis ground is the least of your concerns. Most trailers have notoriously bad conections between the feed wire and the magnets. Grounds and feed conections should be checked monthly in comecial units and anualy in RV service, I recomend before first use of spring. The chassis ground for the brakes is preferable as long as properly maintained, there is less energy loss between the magnets and the ground as the total wire length is shorter.
